Weddings are a special and exciting time, not just for the bride and groom but for the guests of the wedding as well. In more recent times photographs have become cheaper and cheaper and leading to more people using photo album favors. Disposable digital wedding cameras have become cheaper as well and finding themselves on more and more reception tables. With some creative thinking a lot of cleaver uses have been thought up and used. Every bride and groom should take some time to think how they might be used at their wedding.
Every choice you will make about your wedding, besides your future spouse and your vows, involves money to some degree, even the wedding favors. Wedding photo albums provide the most choices of any of the favors. Prices can run from very affordable to quite elegant. Not only that but you can decide to match it to your theme or the wedding colors if you want. An album with sea shells will be great for a beach wedding but look rather funny at a Christmas wedding. Basically, if you can imagine it then you can find it in your budget.

An important part of your fall wedding planning is to pick out the clothes for the bridal party. You want to choose clothes that look great on your bridal party and balances well with your wedding dress and the decor. How do you go about doing this? Your bridesmaids will likely be people of different body types and possible skin tone so some colors might look better on some of your bridesmaids than others. You challenge will be to balance these demands to create a lovely vision as the bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl, and ring bear proceed down the hall. Here are some tips to help you get started.
First, you need to pick the dresses for your bridesmaids. Their clothing will have the most color since they will likely be wearing dresses. For the fall season the key is to go with metallic or jewel tones. The point is that rich colors can work for wide variety people especially if the dress design is simple and elegant. For metallic tones for warm yellowish and reddish tones such gold, bronze, and copper. When you are picking jewel tones go for hues such as crimson, deep reds, orange, or royal purple. Another great idea is to accent darker tones with lighter ones. So if your bridesmaids’ dresses are crimson have then accented with ribbon or belts in gold and copper. Once again try to pick a color and design that can work for all your bridesmaids. Another idea is to take a page from fall leaves and vary the coloring of the dresses depending on the number of bridesmaids you have.

The most important day of your life is coming up. Your head is swimming with memories of weddings you have been to or weddings you have seen on TV. In all of them there are things you remember and more often than not they are little details. There is the saying “the devil is in the details” but so are the angels. Even the smallest thing like place card holders can be memorable and add a special touch. For instance placecard holds that echo the garden theme of the wedding and that is just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many touching things you can do to make your wedding special and unique.
Many of the special and unique touches you can add involve breaking tradition and using family or friends in ways not normally done. One such thing is having both parents escort the bride and groom down the aisle. In Jewish weddings it is common but more and more non-Jews are opting for doing it that was so that neither parent is left out. There is another tradition that fell out of favor for a brief while but is making a happy come back is the Father/Bride dance. If you think back though child hood the perfect song will come to you making it all that much more special. Another way to bring in the family is to decorate the cake table with the wedding pictures of the parents, grandparents, siblings. If you still have room use Aunts, Uncles, the gardener, or whoever. It is your wedding so you get to set the rules.

It just might not be possible to pull off a good wedding with out the bridesmaids and their counter part, the groomsmen. After all they do for you to help pull of a perfect wedding; you will understand why they get groomsmen gifts. The groomsman gifts are the least you can do to thank them for all their help and sacrifice. Just think how much you’d have to pay some one to put up with you as you are stressing out about the wedding and to be a “Johnny-on-the-spot” for you on the big day!
The groomsmen of today have it pretty easy. Well, easy compared to their medieval counterparts. Back in the days of yore, they would travel with the groom great distances, by standards of the day, and were expected to do battle with the highwaymen and roving hordes of bandits. Meanwhile, the second in command, the best man, would guard the ring with his life. They were very much a protection detail to get the groom to the wedding alive. While there is no need for that now, it would still be bad form to allow the groom to get mugged on the way to the alter! Nowadays things are much safer for the groomsmen but their responsibilities are just as important.

Place cards play an important role in helping with seating at your reception. This can be a great challenge as you try to balance the needs of all your guests as well as make sure they are seated to people that they can at least tolerate. The key to making the process as painless as possible is a good seating chart and aids that help guests find their seats quickly and efficiently. The place card in conjunction with the centerpiece can help achieve this. If you are a bride going with a fall theme for your wedding use the opportunity to pick bold and imaginative cards for your reception. Here are some tips and suggestions to pick the best place cards and use them to advantage and maximum use.
A place card has to be eye-catching. This is important because if a person can’t see the card, they can’t find their seat. If you are going for an autumn theme for your ceremony and reception, take advantage of it to create unique and appealing cards. For example use seating cards with bold fall colors like yellow, red, and orange to draw guest’s eyes to the tables. This will quicken the process of getting seated. Another great idea is to use other metallic colors like gold print. This will catch the light and the gleam of the lettering will help get the attention of even the most absent minded attendant.

The spring season is one where beginnings are born whether it is the growth of new plants, the reawakening of old one, or the birth of new animals. This season is also the beginning of the busiest months for marriage ceremonies. Harness the full benefits of the season with its dewy promise and extensive supply of spring plants and motifs as you plan your spring ceremony. If you are a newbie and have no wedding planning experience as either a bride or bridesmaid, this article is especially for you. Here are some great tips and ideas to help you plan your spring ceremony.
The first thing you need to think about when planning your ceremony is the location and the venue. Will you have the event outside or inside? This is very important as it will dictate everything from seating and timing to what type of decorations you can use. If you choose an outdoor location there are several considerations that come into play. First, you need to check the weather forecast. Is it feasible to do it outdoors? If it rains do you have a back up locations or adequate sheltered seating for the guests in case of a spring shower? There is also where outside that you choose. A popular location is a public garden or you can have it at an estate rented for the occasion. For decoration you will normally use floral decorations and arrangement to mark where the altar will be. In doors you will still use floral arrangements but you can also use other decorations like birds and other spring animals.
